the textile industry is one of the 3 most polluting in the world,
it is notably responsible for 8% to 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions

70% of emissions occur during the garment manufacturing stages
fiber production, spinning and then the weaving or knitting phases alone account for almost 3/4 of the climate impact of the textile value chain

20% of emissions occur when you use the garment
washing, drying, ironing consume electricity which, in the world, remains mainly dependent on fossil fuels and in particular coal
